Katherine Perryman's work is led by material, color, and observations of the urban landscape. Remnants are collected, assembled, and composed to portray moments woven into interactions with the pedestrian and the expressive.
Perryman has exhibited her works in Seattle, New York, and her native Chicago since completing her BFA at the Kansas City Art Institute and MFA at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Perryman's recent exhibition record includes Hoofprint Editions, The Learning Machine, Roman Susan Gallery, Zhou B Art Center, Telephonebooth Gallery in Kansas City, and Fort Gondo Compound for the Arts in St. Louis. Perryman currently lives and works in Chicago.
